  It was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable!

  The value. The hotel still has quirks to work out but since I got great deals thru Booked.net I was more than willing to overlook them. I may have been annoyed had I paid full price.

  The staff seem overwhelmed at times. Large groups checking in and out cause annoying lines and elevator waits. The food is very average. Breakfast seemed unattended

  Too hot - the heating was up too high and even with the a/c on full still was too warm when trying to sleep. Also the staff were great but there was often no-one on the coffee stand or bar (especially at the same time)

  The staff was very knowledgable about the city, and always gave great recommendations. Also, if they did not know a route for us, without blinking they would find one for us. They were extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms were extremely clean, beyond New York standard. Each room had starbucks cups and a coffee machine (which you could get as many as you wanted), so you had your own coffee every morning. The beds were extremely comfortable, and you can control the heat/AC in each room (which worked!). Also, the location was right beside a few different subway stations, as well as awesome SOHO shopping, and a great bagel/deli shop right next door.

  It's location near Soho and just on the edge of Tribeca was great. Even though Canal Street is rough at times. Many restaurants nearby.

  Its location was perfect. Service was great and staff super friendly. We got a room in floor 17, which had great views and was not noisy at all.

  I did not like that the rooms were a bit too small...the bathroom was ok, but the room was tiny. It had no wardrobes, we only had one ridiculously small wardrobe. However this is not a put off, as the location was great. No wifi in hotel rooms which was quite cheap. There is no terrace at the hotel, that is only for preferred guests and they do not warn about that on the web page.

  The staff was nice and the location is good,close to the subway..

  The buffet breakfast is very modest for the price, almost no fruits, only Philadelphia cheese, the croissants and muffins were not fresh, etc.. and I did not like the fact that the tip to the housekeeping lady was already included in the bill.
